INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE TIPS AND BETTING
Rajasthan Royals : Captain : Shane Warne
Despite winning the IPL last year, the Rajasthan Royals are far from favourites for this year’s tournament.
Shorn of their impressive Pakistani players this time round, the Royals have done everything in their power to recruit like for like replacements and if Warne can get them going, they could still be a threat.
Bangalore Royal Challengers
Last time out Bangalore were, frankly, rubbish. The side wasn’t suited at all to the Twenty20 format and they won only 4 matches.
This time around the introduction of England’s Kevin Pietersen, exciting New Zealander Jesse Ryder and no less than four South Africans, they definitely have the cutting edge and could win.
Delhi Daredevils
Joint favourites along with the Chennai SuperKings, but the Daredevils have the edge with Glenn McGrath’s bowling and England’s top Twenty20 batsman Paul Collingwood.
Plus they have swashbuckling batsman Virender Sehwag who was a relevation in the last IPL tournament.
